Tied up (short video)

The phrase of the day is: "tied up"

  • if someone is tied up, they are very busy
    [ --- Mrs Moran is tied up in a meeting at the moment but I'll ask her to call you later. --- ]
  • if your money is tied up in something, it is being used for that thing and you cannot use it for anything else
    [ --- A lot of their money is tied up in property. --- ]
  • if traffic is tied up, it is not moving very quickly (US)
